Hey there, lovely souls! I'm Hannah, part-owner of Thanks Frankie. (And yes, the other co-owner is none other than the adorable Frankie, a small borky dachshund who's bound to steal your hearts as much as he has ours.)
Now, let me share how I arrived at this exciting chapter in my life. This year has been a whirlwind of change for me, marking the first time in my entire adult life where I had a moment of doubt, questioning if I was genuinely happy. Spoiler alert: I wasn't. Being the Gemini I am, I couldn't let that stand, so change was inevitable—and ASAP.
The turning point hit me during a two-month stint working in the South of France, surrounded by the opulence of the yachting industry. While it may have seemed glamorous from the outside (and honestly, it was pretty glam on the inside to with its 'sometimes' perks), the job itself didn't set my heart on fire.
After dedicating my entire adult life to glamorous jobs that, let's face it, wouldn't bat an eye if I were gone, I realized it was time to do something just for me. And so, while lounging on a beach bed in Golfe Juan, sipping on a refreshing lemoncello spritz and fuelled by the hype of my incredible friends, Thanks Frankie was born.
I knew that if I was going to do this, I had to go all in. I flew home on September 15th, handed in my notice, and two weeks later found myself unemployed—with nothing but time to pour into something I truly believe will define me.
Am I scared? Absolutely. Am I a millionaire who can brush off the possibility of failure? Not even close.
Here I am, sitting in my apartment, sipping a glass of red, surrounded by fluff from yet another stuffed animal that Frankie has enthusiastically shredded. Gratitude fills my heart for every ounce of support I've received so far, and I'm bubbling with excitement for you to try our treats and join us on this thrilling journey.
